My professional background is as an FF&E interior designer and as a set decorator.
An early idea was to become an actress. In the end, what I have been focusing on - due to my sense of honesty to pursue my dreams - designing interiors where I can bring emotional values. Combining both roles allows me to blur the line between reality and fiction, while remaining committed to designing environments with warmth and poetry.
I am an intuitive person with art and design sensitivity.
My sense of humour and my fondness for beautiful things also define me.
As a result, I have a creative profile. I can develop projects with a strong conceptual narrative all the way through installation.
Empathizing and communicating with people helps me build genuine relationships. These aptitudes show me how to translate their wishes and expectations to give the house their personality. I like to make them feel comfortable.
Graphic design and creative direction are other fields I love to work in.
Due to my curious nature and being a quick learner, I am always open to exploring different backgrounds.
They are all related to one another, enriching and ensuring round-up projects in which all aspects breathe the same air.
Lastly, having worked in high-end interior design studios as an FF&E Designer and a Procurement specialist - including successful experiences in cinema and the visual arts - I can notice my major strength is related to my decor skills.
I am confident in my ability to create atmospheres in terms of:
- authenticity, meaning, context
- space, volume, form
- scale, balance, proportion
- style, theme, detail
- composition, shape, pattern
- material, palette, colour, texture
- art, antiques, crafts, ornamentation, furniture, lighting
In other words, my design approach is to create spaces that tell a story to bring integrity and soul to interior life.
